New Jamiroquai CD

Jamiroquai's new CD Dynamite is out and I love what I've heard so far. I can't get enough of "Seven Days in Sunny June." Vintage Jamiroquai! Check it out...

I always ALWAYS forget about Jamiroquai. I need to just add them to my watch list. Anyway, an old school album you should pick up is John Coltrane's "A Love Supreme (2002 Deluxe Edition)."

w00t!

Lots of people in the States forgot about Jamiroquai -- 'Dynamite' is their first album release since 2001 and I don't remember if they even toured the U.S. to support it. If they did, they must have skipped ATL. Tra and I saw them at the Tabernacle in 1999 and they were amazing. Hope they return for the new album.

And good call on Coltrane's "A Love Supreme" -- how does the 2002 Deluxe Edition differ? We have the original CD. Listening to "Part I: Acknowledgment" is the kind of spiritual experience Coltrane hoped to convey. What an achievement...

How does the 2002 Deluxe Edition differ? Well for one thing, it includes the original studio version as well as some live versions and alternate studio versions. If your interested, I'll burn you a copy.

Oh no... I better watch out for the RIAA. Fuck 'em, I bought my mp3s from a barely legal Russian site (http://www.allofmp3.com). Now that I think about it, they're probably illegal as well. Ahh well, as Miles used to say: "'What the fuck' gives you freedom. Freedom brings opportunity. Opportunity makes your future."

ANYWAY I took your advice and picked up "Dynamite," and it is (for a lack of a better word) DYNAMITE. Outstanding. It's brought me back into the loving hands of Jamiroquai.

The Jamiroquai concert was the most intense concert I've ever been to. Everybody, including Jason, was dancing that there was not a dry body in the building. I enjoy them a lot but am not as big a fan as J. However, until the Prince concert came along in 2004, they were my best concert experience by far. See'm live friends!
